Jimmy Dean McClain, 60, of Savannah, died Tuesday, July 1, in Savannah.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Clarence and Luley Duff McClain. He was united in marriage to Frankie Mae Kendall, who preceded him in death.
Mr. McClain was the owner and operator of The Country Store in Olive Hill for more than 30 years.
He is survived by one step-son, Jimmy “Bo” Davis of Savannah; two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Hopper and Janice Briley, both of Savannah; two brothers, Gilbert and Danny McClain, both of Savannah; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sue Mitchell; and one brother, Carmen McClain.
Memorial donations may be made to Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center, 935 Wayne Road, Savannah, 38372.
Services were held on Thursday, July 3, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Charles Pevahouse officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
