Jimmy Mancell Jimmy Mancell, 52, of Savannah, died Saturday, July 7, in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in Missouri, the son of the late Floyd Mitchell and Lena Ann Doyle Mancell. Jimmy worked for Roach’s Sawmill for several years. Services were held on Tuesday, July 10, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Bobby Pickens and Jeff Crosswhite officiating. Burial followed in the Old Union Cemetery at Hardin County. He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Burns of Savannah; and two sons, Jeffrey Young of Logansport, Ind. and James Lee Burns of Savannah; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Burns and Lena Shelby, both of Savannah; and one brother, Johnny Mancell of Savannah. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie Chapman, Floyd Jr. and Frank Mancell.
