Jimmy Jones Jimmy Clyde Jones, 65, of McNairy County, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, in Jackson, Tenn. Mr. Jones was a heavy equipment operator for Morrison/Knudsen Construction Company. The Tennessee Tom-Bigbee Waterway and the Monteagle Mountain Highway were two notable projects on which he worked. Mr. Jones also drove a truck in his later years. Services were held on Friday, Dec. 10, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer with Randy Ward officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Vinson Cemetery at Stantonville, Tenn. In Hardin County, his survivors are two sisters, Nita Garrison of Crump and Dorothy Pettigrew of Adamsville; and a brother, Sammy Jones of Savannah.
