Jill Stricklin

Jill Stricklin, 43, of Savannah, died Saturday, Nov. 26.

She was born in Waukegan, Ill., the daughter of Roger Wayne and Carmen Bonds Jones. She was united in marriage to Norman Gene Stricklin, who survives.

Mrs. Stricklin retired from The Tool Box where she was manager. She was a member of White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Norman Gene of Savannah, she is survived by one son, Jesse James Roger Stricklin of Savannah; her parents, Roger Wayne Jones and Carmen Jean Jones of Adamsville; her grandmother, Clara Faye Jones of Adamsville; two sisters, Robbie Jones McCormick of Adamsville and Traci Leigh Jones Thomas of Jackson, Tenn.

Mrs. Stricklin was preceded in death by one sister, Joy Jean Jones; and her grandparents, Imogene and Jay Bonds and James Roger Jones.

Services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Charles Linam officiating. Burial followed in the White’s Creek Cemetery at Hardin County.
