Jesse Barnett (5-1-14) No service

Jesse J. Barnett, 82, of Savannah, died Thursday, May 1, at Savannah Healthcare. He was born in Savannah, the son of the late D. A. and Minnie Barnett. He was united in marriage to Marlene Ronshaugen, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Barnett was a bookkeeper for DeBerry Roofing Company. He served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Cummings of Stevensville, Mich. and Daniel J. Barnett of Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Vera Hartnett of St. Louis, Mo.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Durbin.

Graveside services will be held later.
