J.C. Johnson
J.C. Johnson, 86, of Savannah, died Saturday, May 11, in Savannah.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Walter Coleman and Nellie Johnson. He was united in marriage to Frances Stricklin, who survives.
Mr. Johnson served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired mechanic and was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a 32nd degree Mason.
Services were held on Monday, May 13, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Duwayne Pounds, Tony Polk officiating. Burial followed in the Rock of Ages Cemetery at Hardin County.
In addition to his wife, Frances of Savannah, he is survived by two sons, Ronnie Johnson and John Coleman Johnson Jr., both of Savannah; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
