Janie Gurley (1-29-14) service 1-31-14

 Janie M. Hollins Gurley, 69, of Selmer, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, at her residence. She was born in Corinth, Miss., the daughter of the late Dee F. and Stella McCain Hollins.

She was a custodian at Pickwick Southside School and a member of Childer’s Hill Pentecostal Church.

She was survived by a son, Dennis O. Milligan and a daughter, Loretta M. Mask both of Selmer; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and brothers, Charles E. Hollins of Corinth, Miss., and Bobby R. Hollins of Savannah.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy B. Milligan;  brother, Billy Dan Hollins and sister, Shirley Harvill.

Services were held Friday, Jan. 31, in Stantonville with Patrick Terry and Rex McGee officiating. Burial followed at Emmanuel Tabernacle in Stantonville.
