Janell Roberts Janell Roberts, 75, of Adamsville, died Friday, Jan. 20, at the Hardin Medical Center. She was born in Prentiss County, daughter of the late John Harvey Goodin and Gladys McCoy Goodin. She was united in marriage to Winston Roberts, who survives. Mrs. Roberts was a restaurant/tavern owner and a member of the Past 60 Ladies Sunday school class of Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah. Services were held Monday, Jan. 23, at Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Larue officiating. Burial followed in Gaston Cemetery. In addition to her husband, Winston, she is survived by a son, Joe "Buck" Barnett of Wilmington, Ill; a daughter, Martha Janell Barnett of Riverside, Ill.; a brother, J.M. Goodin of Covington, Tenn.; a sister, Betty Carol Henderson of Imboden, Ark.; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald, Tab and Leon Goodin.
