Jane Baker (2-15-10) services 2-18-10

Jane C. Baker, 46, of Savannah, died Monday, Feb. 15.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of Albert and Barbara McConnell, who survive. She was united in marriage to James Clinton Baker Jr. "Jimmy Joe," who survives.

Mrs. Baker was a cosmetics department manager at Wal-Mart and had also worked at the Wise Company and the Candy Factory.

Services were held on Thursday, Feb. 18, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Chris Ozment officiating. Burial was in the New Harmony Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to her husband Jimmy Joe of Savannah, she is survived by a daughter, Brittany Nicole Baker Yates; a son, Brandon James Baker; her parents, Albert and Barbara McConnell; a brother, Steve Alan McConnell; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Raymond McConnell; and a grandson.
