James Price, 66, of Savannah, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, in Corinth, Miss. He was born in Lutts, the son of the late Andrew Boyd and Frankie Viola Brewer Price.

He was united in marriage to Annie Louise Lawley, who preceded her husband in death.

He worked for the Air National Guard and served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Price attended Covey Chapel Church and Crossroads Union Church.

He is survived by six sisters, Lou Vandeveer of Wichita, Kan., Joyce Jackson of Savannah, Jo Middleton of Benton Harbor, Mich., Daisy Doyle of Savannah, Ann Noles of Augusta, Mich., and Judy Hamilton of Savannah.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Rebecca Rose Price, Patricia Lee Tanner and Mearl Archer, a brother, Buford Boyd Price and two half-sisters.

Services were held Saturday, Jan. 25, in Savannah with Shayne Riley officiating. Burial followed at Neill Cemetery in Savannah.
