James McCasland James Otis McCasland, 92, of Adamsville, died Thursday, Feb. 9, in Adamsville. He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Grant Allen and Addie Martin McCasland. He was united in marriage to Melba Smith, who preceded him in death. Mr. McCasland was a heavy equipment mechanic for State of Tennessee Highway Department. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Christian Assembly in Adamsville. Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville with Billy White, W.D McCollum officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Hill Memorial Garden at Adamsville. He is survived by one daughter, Sue Ann McCasland of Adamsville; four grandsons, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Edith Gann of Wytheville, Va.
