Howard Russell (2-7-14) service 2-9-14

Howard Russell, 85, died Friday, Feb. 7, in Savannah. He was born in Savannah, the son of the late John Edgar and Kenny Templeton Russell. He was united in marriage to Darlene LaFerney, who survives.

Mr. Russell was a retired set up man for Southern Fabricators in Memphis. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Savannah.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Joe Russell and Richard Russell, both of Memphis; a grandchild; a brother, Billy Joe Russell of Portageville, Mo., and two sisters, Syble Coleman of Memphis and Reba Quick of Portageville, Mo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Delinial, Edward and Charles Russell and two sisters, Bertie Jennings and Dorothy Russell.

Services were held Sunday, Feb. 9, in Savannah with Jerry Milliken officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
