Hardy A. Davidson Sr., was born in Hardin County, on June 30, 1923, the son of the late Barney and Belle Garner Davidson.
Mr. Davidson served his country in the United States Army and he worked as a brick mason. Mr. Davidson loved gardening and was an avid hunter.Â
He departed this life on Sunday, August 4, Â in Savannah, at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 15 days.
Mr. Davidson is survived by his children, Hardy A. Davidson, Jr. of Savannah, Patricia Dicus of Adamsville, and Paula Plunk of Bethel Springs, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Dr. Chantil Jeffreys, Terry Dicus, Jr., Joe Davidson, Steve Davidson, Casey Davidson and Luke Davidson; six great grandchildren, Peyton Dicus, Cara Davidson, Steven Davidson, Joshua Davidson, Emily Davidson and Ben Davidson
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Crotts and four brothers, Joe, John, W. L. and Sam Davidson
A Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, August 6, at the Goshen Cemetery in Hardin County, with Markus Smith officiating.
