Guy Brandon (9-23-18)

Guy Morris Brandon passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, in Savannah.

Born Aug. 4, 1930, in Belden, Mississippi, to Vera Riley Brandon and Edwin Cyle Brandon, spending his youth in Endville, Mississippi.

Guy graduated from Sherman High School where he met his wife of 67 years,   Bettie Davis Brandon.

After his Korean War service, they settled in Memphis.  Guy’s career spanned 40 years in corporate sales with Chevrolet, American Motors Corporation and Nissan Motor Corporation where he retired.

The family moved to Pickwick Dam. His favorite activity was boating, cruising the Tennessee River and destinations beyond.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Counce.

He is survived by his wife, Bettie; his sons, Edwin Davis Brandon (Mark), Michie; Brett Alan Brandon (Tara), Cary, North Carolina; Philip Norfleet Brandon (Nora), New Orleans, Louisiana; and nephew, Stephen Kyle Brandon, Tupelo, Mississippi.
