Grady Lloyd Austin (5-17-17)

Grady Austin was born in Hardin County, in the Holland Creek-Walnut Grove community, on Aug. 24, 1935, to the late Eldridge “Shorty” and Emma Lee Patterson Austin.
He departed this life on Wednesday, May 17, at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Grady was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; two brothers, Eldridge “Jr.” Austin and Frank “Dee Rod” Austin of Savannah.
He is survived by two sons, Gary (Kathleen) Austin of Sedonia, Arizona and Dean (Ruth) Austin of Flagstaff, Arizona; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Kimberly, Danielle and Jenna Austin; and one great-grandson, Kaiden. He is also survived by one sister, Patsy Holcombe of Corinth, Mississippi; and one brother, Ancil Austin of Bartlett, Tennessee.
Grady spent all of his adult life in Arizona in the propane gas business. He became owner of his own gas and RV service business many years before retiring.
