Gracie Wesson (2-8-14) service 2-12-14

Gracie Mae Haley Wesson, 91, of Savannah died Saturday, Feb. 8. She was born in Mississippi, the daughter of the late James Elbruch and Winnie Adline Keller Haley.

She was a homemaker and a member of Savannah First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Powers of Milan, Ruth Burns Reynolds of Evansville, Ind., Mary Murphy of Reed, Ky., and Shirley Franks of Savannah; sons, Larry Wesson, Clarence Wesson and Tommy Wesson all of Savannah and Marvin Wesson of Biloxi, Miss.; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Owen” Wesson; son, David Wesson; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers and three sisters.

Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 12, in Savannah with Michael Gibbs officiating. Burial followed at Graham Cemetery in Savannah.
