Gerald Anthoney Jones, 67, of Adamsville, died on Friday, July 6.
He was born in Chester County, Tennessee, the son of the late Elbert D. and Imogene Miller Jones. He married the former Judy K. Maness who preceded him in death.
Mr. Jones worked as a self-employed auto mechanic.
He attended United Pentecostal Church in Counce and was a member of the L&W Hunting Club in Adamsville.
He leaves his children, Jeff Jones of Jacks Creek, Tennessee, Sharon Burkeens of Adamsville and Angela Austin of Savannah; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves his two sisters, Linda Bobbitt of Lexington, Tennessee and Sandy Huse of Jacks Creek, Tennessee.
Other than his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Anthoney Jones Jr.; and a brother, Charles Jones.
Services were held on Monday, July 9, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville in Adamsville, Tennessee, with Darrell Moffett officiating. Burial followed in Lebanon Cemetery at Adamsville.
