Gerald "Stormy" Ferguson, 67, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Oct. 6.

He was born in Stantonville, son of the late Granville D. and Beulah May Nixon Ferguson.

Mr. Ferguson was a mechanic in Adamsville, and then a truck driver for 40 years.

Services were held on Friday, Oct. 8, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Lloyd Blankenship and Odis Shutt officiating. Burial followed in the Stantonville Cemetery at Stantonville, Tenn.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Godwin Ferguson of Savannah; two daughters, Lisa Goodrum of Bethel Springs and Tara White Ferguson of Colorado; one son, Mark Ferguson of Stantonville, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Tanya Vaughn of Crump; stepson, Eric Moore of Savannah; nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Granville Ferguson; mother, Beulah Ferguson; stepfather, Hughie Wilson; son, Joey Ferguson; infant twin brother, Burl Ferguson; five sisters, Glenda Ferguson, Joann Wilkerson, Shirley Estell, Betty Lou Bratton and Mary Sue English.
