Frances McVay, 83, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of the late John Wayne and Susie Bell Strait.
She was united in marriage to Carl McVay, who preceded his wife in death.
She is survived by her sons, Randall McGee and Steve Strait; daughters, Marla Rikard and Lisa Rea; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Frances was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia McGee.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Thad Calton officiating. Burial will follow at Lutts Cemetery in Lutts, Tennessee.
