Floyd Bain
Floyd Alfred Bain, 88, died Friday, Dec. 28.
He was born in Savannah, son of the late Horace and Margaret Ann Godwin Bain. He married Dorothy Lee Gammill, who preceded him in death.
Floyd served as a medical technician in the United States Army during World War II. He was self-employed as a farmer. He attended Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church.
Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 30, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jason Estes officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.
He is survived by two sons, Carol Alfred Bain and Gregory Bain, both of Savannah; a brother, Delbert Bain and a sister, Sarah Margaret Owens, both of Savannah; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Bain.
