Flora Williams (3-30-10) service 3-31-10

Flora Williams, 99, of Sardis, died Tuesday, March 30.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late G.W. and Carrie Austin McBride.

She was united in marriage to Willie Robert Williams, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church.

Services were held Wednesday, March 31, at Shackelford Adamsville Chapel with Billy Joe Stewart officiating. Burial in Milledgeville Cemetery.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Leswayne Williams of Saltillo; two daughters, Sherold Reid of Goodlettsville, Tenn., Betty Janeus Doyle of Sardis; six grandchildren, eight grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Bobby and Dewayne Williams; a sister, Ora Morris; a brother, Onie McBride.
