Fannie Goodman

Fannie B. Goodman, 102, of Savannah, died Monday, May 24, at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah.

She was born in Florence, Ala., the daughter of the late Jim and Eda Irons Phillips. She was united in marriage to John Hollin Goodman, who preceded his wife in death in March of 1949.

Mrs. Goodman was a homemaker. She was the oldest charter member of New Life Pentecostal Church.

Services were held on Wednesday, May 26, at New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah with Rev. Gerald Davis, Dennis Moffett officiating. Burial was in the Savannah Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Trennon Goodman and John Wayne Goodman, both of Savannah; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three sons, Roy, William and Jimmy Goodman; two grandchildren; three sisters, Omie Neal, Mary Skipworth and Myrtle Ezekiel; and one brother, Thomas Phillips.
