Estella Franks Estella Franks, 69, of Savannah died Monday, May 31. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Edd and Stella DeShazier Hunt. She was united in marriage to Jesse Edward Franks, who survives. Mrs. Franks was a cook for six years at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah. She had also worked for Cross Country Apparel and Savannah Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Services were held on Wednesday, June 2, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. In addition to her husband Jesse of Savannah, she is survived by two daughters, Vickie Gray of Arab, Ala. and Freeda Wilson of Savannah; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, four sisters, Polly Scott, Betty Moser and Carolyn Hill, all of Savannah, and Anne Goodman of Morton, Ill.; two brothers, Jay and Otie Hunt, both of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Libby Brashier; and one brother, Edward Hunt.
