Elijah Walker “Skipper” Graham, 59, of Savannah, died Sunday, Nov. 16, at Hardin Medical Center.
He was the son of the late William Charles and Minnie Louella Dixon Graham.
Mr. Graham served his country in the United States Army. While enlisted, he lived in Harvey, Illinois for a short period of time, and was also deployed to Germany where he stayed 12 months in Europe. He was also employed as a heat treater for Wyman Gordon Forging Company in Harvey, Illinois. He was a member of Saint John Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Eli Graham of Bloomington, Minnesota; one daughter, Elycia Graham of McDonough, Georgia; one sister, Pearl Thames of Markham, Illinois; three brothers, Sam Graham of Savannah, Josh Graham of Memphis and Mitchell Graham of Chicago, Illinois; and one grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, William C. Graham Jr., Larry Graham and Danny Graham.
Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 22, at St. John’s Missionary Baptist in Savannah with Sam Reeves officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
