Edgar Brooks Jr. (2-4-15) service 2-7-15

Edgar Eli Brooks Jr., 88, of Sardis, died Wednesday,  Feb. 4.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Edgar and Nealie Brooks. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Martin, who survives.
They had two children, Johnny and Kimba; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Hurricane Primitive Baptist Church for 65 years. He was a farmer and barber, retiring at the age of 81.
He was the last survivor of eight siblings.
Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 7, at Hurricane Primitive Baptist Church with Cecil Woodford officiating. Burial followed in Hurricane Cemetery at Henderson County, Tennessee.
