Earline Rinks, 72, of Savannah, died Monday, Aug. 25, in Savannah.
She was born in Lauderdale County, Ala., the daughter of the late James Clarence and Myrtle Stricklin White. She was united in marriage to Edgar J. Rinks, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Rinks worked for Suds your Duds, also known as 69 Laundry, Garan Manufacturing, Cross Country Apparel and Hardin County Senior Citizens Center. She was of Pentecostal belief.
She is survived by one son, Bruce Rinks of Savannah; one daughter, Lisa West of Savannah; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Clarence White Jr. of Savannah.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Devena Jean Alexander; one son, Jeffrey Lynn Rinks; two grandchildren; three sisters, Lillian Highland, Icie Bryant and Vinia Brewington; and two brothers, Jay White and Lawrence White.
Private graveside services were held on Thursday, Aug. 28, at Neill Cemetery in Savannah with Chad Balentine officiating.
