Dorothy Camilla Franks Irvin Ray, 97, passed away on Monday, April 28.
Dorothy was a teacher and a preacher.
She was a founding member of Union Church in Burnt Church.
Dorothy had two loving husbands in her lifetime, Harold and Joe.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Joyce Pickens and Diane McGarrity; sister, Margaret Sue Orr; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four -great -great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Irvin; sisters, Louise Shelby, Annie Kate Young, and Hazel Appenzellar; and great-grandchild, Delayne Franklin.
A celebration of Dorothy’s life and faith was held on Friday, April 30, at Souls Harvest Church of God.
