Cyndy Plunkett Cyndy Plunkett, of Savannah, was born in Hamilton, Ala., on Aug. 13, 1953, the daughter of the late Aussie Gean Roberts and Mattlene Webb Roberts Smith. On March 27, 1972, she was united in marriage to Wayne Plunkett, who survives. Mrs. Plunkett was the owner of Savannah Body Shop. She was a member of Dorcey Baptist Church in Dorcey, Miss. She loved her grandchildren and family and she loved taking care of everyone. Mrs. Plunkett departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, Miss., at the age of 57 years, 5 months and 8 days. In addition to her husband Wayne of Savannah, she is survived by two daughters, Jackie Plunkett of Jackson, Tenn. and Cissy Presley of Savannah; one son, Mark Plunkett of Savannah; four grandchildren, Jessica Plunkett, Brandy Plunkett, Jacob Plunkett and Caleb Oliver; one brother, Darrell (Bozo) Roberts of Savannah; one half sister, Tina Smith of Nashville. Services were held on Sunday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Paul Childers officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
