"C.R." Ivey Cleadous Ray "C.R." Ivey, 88, of Saltillo, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in Decatur County, Tenn., the son of the late Oscar and Bessie Wood Ivey. He was united in marriage to Colleen Ricketts, who survives. Mr. Ivey was a member of Saltillo Church of Christ. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving as a medic in the European Theatre. He worked at Campbell 66 Express freight line for 34 years as a professional truck driver. Services were held on Friday, Aug. 26, at Saltillo Church of Christ in Saltillo with David Baker officiating. Burial followed in the Shady Grove Cemetery at Saltillo. In addition to his wife, Colleen, of Saltillo, he is survived by four sons, Phillip of Spring Hill, Tenn., John of Germantown, Tenn., Scott and Mark Ivey, both of Savannah, 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Jean Grace.
