Clyde Robertson, 85, of Saltillo, died on Saturday, Aug. 22.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Burl “Bill” and Gulmer Love Robertson. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Kay Griffin, who survives.
Mr. Robertson was self employed as a farmer and construction worker. He served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1950 through 1953.
In addition to his wife, Dorothy Kay Robertson of Saltillo, he is survived by a son, Mickey Alan Robertson of Trimble, Tennessee; daughter, Rebecca Faith Robertson Hollingsworth of Camden, Tennessee; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Robertson, Curtis Robertson, Burl Robertson and James Robertson; and sisters, Pauline Terry, Burnice Stinnett and Mildred Marschall.
Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in Lebanon Cemetery at Saltillo.
