Clyde Franks Clyde Franks of Huron, Tenn., was born in Wayne County, Tenn. on Oct. 14, 1937, the son of the late Lydia Pearl Brown Beckham and Jack Beckham. On December 23, 1956 he was united in marriage to Virginia Sue Dicus, who survives. In addition to Wayne County, Mr. Franks had also lived in Elmhurst, Ill., Nashville, Tenn., Hardin County, Tenn., and Huron, Tenn. He had worked for Reflector Hardware Company in Melrose Park, Ill., Western Electric Company in Cicero, Ill., and Globe Business in Hendersonville, Tenn. He was a member of the Scotts Hill Methodist Church. Mr. Franks departed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the age of 72 years, 3 months, 13 days. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffrey C. Franks of Huron, Tenn.; three granddaughters, Andrea C. Davis and husband Shane, Amber D. Maness and husband Lee, and Alyssa Courtney Franks; two great-grandchildren, Casen Lee Maness and Brooklin Kennedy Maness. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Beckham Jr. Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Billy Allegood and Marty Comer officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Hardin County, Tenn.
