Clayton Johnson Sr. Clayton R. Johnson Sr., 93, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Dec. 11. He was born in Kansas City, Kan., the son of the late Carl and Marguerite Johnson. He was united in marriage to Helen Lucille Dickson, who survives. Mr. Johnson was a sales engineer and the owner/operator of Johnson & Scott Inc. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1938-1945. Private graveside services were held on Friday, Dec. 14, at Memory Gardens in Savannah. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. He is survived by his wife, Helen Lucille Dickson Johnson of Savannah; daughter, Connie Marie Johnson Dunning of Savannah; sons, Clayton R. Johnson Jr. of Savannah and Darrell L. Johnson of Memphis; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brother, Carl Johnson Jr.; and one grandson.
