Clarence Asa Wood, 74, of  Savannah, died Friday, May 15, in Jackson, Tennessee.
He was born in Denver, Colorado, the son of the late Dorothy Long Wood. He was united in marriage to Norma Jean DeShazier, who survives.
Mr. Wood served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Germany in the early 1960s. Following his service, he was employed by I.B.M., in construction, in logging, and by Burls as a computer programmer, where he worked until retirement. Clarence was an artist and had paintings displayed in the Miami Museum.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Wood of Savannah; and his sister, Nancy Wood.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Dr. Charles Wood and Dr. Richard Wood.
No service will be held.
