Charlie Garrison, 63, of Stantonville, Tenn., died Friday, July 25, in Jackson, Tenn.
He was born in Selmer, the son of the late Allen and Reatha Tedford Garrison. He was united in marriage to Candy Yancey, who survives.
Charlie was a LT03 employee at the PCA Counce Containerboard Mill. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and also served six years in the Tennessee National Guard at the Selmer Armory. He was a McNairy County commissioner. He was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church and was attending West Shiloh Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife Candy Garrison of Stantonville, Tenn., he is survived by two sons, Chaz Garrison of Stantonville, Chase Garrison of Olive Branch, Miss.; and two sisters, Doris Ashe and Kay Raines, both of Stantonville.
Services were held on Thursday, July 30, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with James Stophel officiating. Burial followed in the Stantonville Cemetery.
