Charles Meadows, 82, of Savannah, passed away on Monday, March 31, the son of the late Douglas and Vada Berry Meadows.
He was united in marriage to Barbara J. Meadows, who survives.
Mr. Meadows honorably served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard from February of 1964 until February of 1970. He retired from Missouri Highway and Transportation, where he worked as a highway maintenance supervisor. Charles was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara J. Meadows; daughter, Misty Dawn Scott; son, Charles David Meadows; and four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Jean Bird.

Services were held on Saturday, April 5, at Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah, with Allen Guyer officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
Reginald Taylor
Reginald “Reggie” Demorris Taylor, 39, of Savannah, passed away on Monday, March 31, Tennessee, the son of Joel E. Taylor and Debora A. Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee.
He was a member of Graham Chapel CME Church.
Reggie graduated from Hardin County High School, where he was an active member of the Hardin County Band Drum Line. He attended TN Tech University in Cookeville, Tennessee, where he graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business.
Reggie was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Billy Benton and Fred Davis Taylor.
He is survived by his parents, Joel and Debora Taylor; sister, Adrian Benton; twin sister, Regina Taylor; and grandmothers, Peggy Moore and Eunice Siner.
Memorial services were held on Sunday, April 6, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Dr. Barbara McBride officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
