Carrie Mae Pipes
Carrie Mae "Granny" Pipes, 72, of Savannah, died Thursday, Dec. 20.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Martin and Ida Mae Price.
Ms. Pipes was a homemaker.
Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Willie Paul Kilburn officiating. Burial followed in the Germany Branch Cemetery at Hardin County, Tenn.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Pipes, Sherry Johnson, James Pipes, Tommy Pipes, Troy Pipes, Tanya Ferrell and Mary Jo Pipes Smith, all of Savannah, and Teresa Born of Shiloh; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Price; and one great-grandchild.
