Calvin Plunk, 67, of Adamsville, died Monday, July 21, in Adamsville.
He was born in Corinth, Miss., the son of Rheba Lee Alexander Plunk and the late William Calvin Plunk. He was united in marriage to Janice Marie Duncan, who survives.
Mr. Plunk served his country in the National Guard for six years. He retired after 29 years as maintenance director for Adamsville Healthcare and Rehabilitation formerly known as Tri County Convalescent Home. He was a member of Old Union Church, Woodmen of the World and Big Brothers.
In addition to his wife Janice Plunk, he is survived by one daughter, Jana Plunk White of Adamsville; one grandson; his mother, Rheba Lee Alexander Plunk of Adamsville; and one sister, Loria Ann Plunk of Paris, Tenn.
Services were held on Wednesday, July 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Mike Moore officiating. Burial followed in the Crump Cemetery at Crump.
