Bobbie Jean White Thompson, 77, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Jackson, Tenn. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Robert and Rose Thornton White She was united in marriage to Billy Thompson, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Thompson was a housekeeper for Pickwick Inn, and worked for Garan Incorporated. She was a member of Church of God In Christ.
Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 13, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eddie Payne officiating. Burial followed at the Shelby Cemetery in Savannah.
She is survived by her children, Lamond Hottiman of Savannah; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Billy Brenard Thompson, one brother, Penn Hawkins, one sister, Ethel Mae Irvin and one half sister, Agagha Thornton.
