Billy Malcolm Taylor, 69, of Savannah, died Saturday, Aug. 23, at his home in Savannah.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Jim Dan and Mattie Pearl Tucker Taylor. He was united in marriage to Mary Ross, who survives.
Mr. Taylor was employed by Sand Hill Auto, Burdine Auto, Ronnie Smith of Savannah and Roger Motors, from which he retired.
In addition to his wife Mary of Savannah, he is survived by three children, Victoria Luss of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Celest Terry of Antioch, Tenn. and Candice Taylor of Savannah; two grandchildren; three brothers, Nathaniel Taylor of Germany, Emmanuel Taylor of Savannah and Frank Taylor of Savannah; four sisters, Virginia Taylor of Chicago, Ill., Mary Jordan of Alabama, Dorothy Welch of Savannah and Sharley Tall of Nashville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James E. Taylor.
Services will be held today, Thursday, Aug. 28, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eddie Payne, Gallian Fulton and Prentiss Burdine officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
