Beverly Jo Keymon Blackburn, 71, of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday, February 4. She was born on October 2, 1955, in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Bomont and Opal Pearl Keymon. In April of 1988, Beverly left Clifton, Tennessee, and married Roy Lee Blackburn and they made their home in Kentucky. After Roy’s death in March 2023, she wanted to move back home and lived in Savannah from April 2025 until her passing. She is survived by three nieces who loved her dearly, Kim Durbin of Savannah, Tennessee, Paula Skelton of Clifton, Tennessee, and Lana Vallejo of Paris, Tennessee; four great-nieces, Brittany Everett of Nolensville, Tennessee, Kasha Ricketts of Clifton, Tennessee, and Jessica and Julianna Durbin, both of Savannah, Tennessee; and one great-nephew, Kirby Bridges of Pensacola, Florida. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Keymon; and two sisters, Claudie Primm and Willie Sue “Tootie” Pulley. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Arden Hospice and Park Rest Nursing Home for the care given to Beverly over the last six weeks. You all went above and beyond your call of duties. Memorial services were held on Friday, February 27, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Jason Martindale officiating. Burial followed at the Prater’s Chapel Cemetery in Clifton, Tennessee.
