Ben Earley Sr. (2-4-10) services 2-9-10

Ben L. Earley Sr., 66, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park.

Memorials: Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.

Ben was born Aug. 31, 1943, in Drew, Miss. He was a retired construction superintendent. He will be greatly missed.

Ben was preceded in death by his father, Lorron Herbert Earley Sr.; mother, Ruthie Mae Winters Earley; and sister, Janice Earley.

Survivors: Loving wife of 46 years, Margaret Earley; son, Benjamin Earley Jr. of Rhome; daughter, Melinda Blue of Watauga; grandchildren, Benjamin Lamar Earley III, Brandi Blue, Amanda Blue, Emily Earley; sisters, Shirley Hildalgo, Gwin Schreiner, Joyce Simmons, and Carolyn Earley; and brothers, Jerry Earley and Lorron Earley Jr.
