Arthur "Wolfman" Cox Jr., of Brantley, Ala., was born in Siler City, N.C. on Feb. 4, 1952, the son of the late Arthur Ross Sr. and Annie Ruth Spurlock Cox.

On July 18, 1986, he was united in marriage to Alice Faye Milligan, who survives.

Mr. Cox was a mechanical superintendent for Southern Industrial Contractors. He had lived in Savannah, Tenn. and was living in Brantley, Ala. He enjoyed golfing, riding his horses and his motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson, and he loved visiting with his friends. Mr. Cox was a veteran of the United Sates Air Force and a member of the Elks Lodge.

Mr. Cox departed this life on Monday, March 22, at the age of 58 years, 1 month, 18 days.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Cox is survived by a son, Paul Cox of Montgomery, Ala.; two daughters, Danielle Decker and Kenda Gayle Cox, both of Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Misty Lay of Savannah; a stepson, Todd Clement of Suffolk, Va.; a brother, Randall Cox of Brantley, Ala.; two nieces, Jennifer Knighten of Brantley, Ala. and Lindsay Cox of Troy, Ala.

Services were held on Friday, March 26, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Eric Jones officiating. Burial was in the Hollands Creek Cemetery at Hardin County.
