Rev. Arnold Kenneth Newman, 81, of Savannah, died on Friday, Nov. 23, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on Jan. 9, 1937, in Ansley, Nebraska.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie Bemis Newman; son, Alan Newman of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Laura Wilson and husband Charles of Olive Hill; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Heather, Kathryn, Ryan and Lily Wilson; and a twin brother, Ronald Keith Neumann of Ft. Mohave, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parent, Kenneth and Laura Neumann; and his older twin brothers, Donald and Gerald Neuman.

Arnold served in the U.S. Air Force. He served the Lord for 51 years in Presbyterian churches in Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., before the service at 11 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, Savannah with Rev. Herb Adams officiating.
