Arbie Bowen Arbie Bowen, 88, of Memphis, died Saturday, Feb. 27. An accountant for the Mid-South Growers Association for 25 years. Mrs. Bowen was a member of Berclair BaptistChurch. She was also involved in the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Ozarks Reunion, Shriner’s Crippled Children’s Hospital and a Shelby County Election Committee Commissioner. Funeral services were Tuesday, March 2, at 11 a.m., at Berclair Baptist Church, with burial following at 3 p.m. in Morris Chapel Cemetery in Morris Chapel. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Bowen. She is survived by her only daughter, Patricia B. Butler (Edward M.) of Cookeville, Tenn.; sister, Marie Wardlow; grandsons, Ed Butler II (Karyn), Rhett Butler (Adrienne) and James Butler (Jennifer); great-granddaughters, Kaylynn, Evelynn and Carly Beth Butler; nephew, Fred Wardlow (Kay); niece, Rebecca Horn (Ed) and great-nieces, Lisa Wolfe (Sam) and Tiffany Bonilla (Thomas).
