Anna Lea Weir, 86, of Savannah, died Thursday, Oct. 23.
She was born near Finger, to the late William Earl and Annie Pearl Miller Goodrum. She was married to JW Weir, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Weir worked as a beautician and a waitress. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Stroud of Jackson, Tennessee, Charlotte Stewart of Crump, Patricia Scott of Savannah; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-daughter; siblings, Virginia Saunier, Earline Acree, Dorothy Scott, Peggy Ryan and Kenneth Hawkins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, William (Billy) Holland; brother, Billy Joe Goodrum; and sisters, Martha Britt and Becky Holland.
Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Wayne Bittle officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Selmer.
