Andrew “Bubby” Caldwell Jr. departed this life on Sunday, April 5, in Savannah, at the age of 58 years, 7 months, and 28 days.
He was born on Aug. 8, 1956, in Blytheville, Arkansas, son to the late Andrew Caldwell Sr. and Bonnie Pipes Caldwell. He was united in marriage to Susan Corinne Coleman on Oct. 14, 1978, who survives.
Mr. Caldwell was employed at Nolan Company as a salesman for two years. He was also self-employed for many years. He was also involved in doing electrical, air and refrigeration work. He lived in Hardin County for 52 years.
“Bubby” enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching Jimmy Johnson on NASCAR. He also enjoyed watching NFL football and was a Peyton Manning fan.
In addition to his wife, Andrew is survived by his children, Jason Caldwell and his wife Lindsey of Savannah; brother-in-law, Alan Mocko of Texas; sister-in-law, Tammy Coleman of Texas; mother-in-law, Cora Coleman of Savannah; siblings, Jim Caldwell of Savannah, Vickie Taylor of Mississippi, Shirley Henshaw of Georgia and Jackie Caldwell of Savannah; nieces and nephews, Josh, Justin, and Morgan Caldwell, Angie Hopper, Bonnie Clark, Clink Clark and Amanda Hill; and grandchildren, Kallie Caldwell and Eli Drew Caldwell.
Services were held on Wednesday, April 8, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jeff Hart officiating. Burial followed in Crump Cemetery at Crump.
