Alice Alexander Alice Marie Alexander, of Henderson, Tenn., was born in Herrin, Ill., on Oct. 23, 1946, the daughter of the late John David and Alice Nasser. Mrs. Alexander departed this life on Friday, Dec. 3, at the age of 64 years, 1 month, 10 days. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband, James Alexander of Henderson, Tenn.; a son, Richard Holroyd and wife Ramona of Luray, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Richie, Matlock, J.T., Cecily, J.D., Darby and Alicia; four great-grandchildren, James, Elijah, Jonny and McKinnely; four brothers, Melvin Alexander of Milan, Tenn., Floyd Alexander, Larry Alexander and Tommy Alexander, all of Savannah; three sisters, Pat Harwell of Maryville, Tenn., Inez Weeks Yarbrough and Linda Rose, both of Savannah; a friend of the family, Dewayne Climer of Henderson, Tenn. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by two sons, John David and Mathew Nelson Alexander; mother-in-law, Estell Alexander. Services were held on Monday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Eddie Alexander officiating. Burial was in the Hollands Creek Cemetery at Hardin County, Tenn.
