William Dewey Gammill, 89, of Savannah passed away on Friday, August 22, the son of the late Leo M. and Luella Banks Gammill.
He was united in marriage to Mattie Ruth Stricklin, who preceded her husband in death.
Mr. Gammill worked for the Hardin County Highway Department. He was a member of Savannah Church of Nazarene.
He is survived by his sister, Janell Russell.
In addition to his wife and parents, William was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Lee Bain and Carolyn Joyce Adams.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 3, at Memory Gardens in Savannah, Tennessee with Steven Torman officiating.
