Wet weather ahead: Local Halloween event updates

Posted

Savannah’s Halloween Treat Street event for kids scheduled to be held downtown tonight has been canceled due to the threat of inclement weather.
Treat vendors are instead being welcomed to set up at the city’s Fall Bazaar at Tennessee Street Park, 200 Tennessee St., on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 3 p.m.
The Fall Bazaar will have food trucks, vendors, crafts and photo ops.
Hardin County residents still have the opportunity to enjoy trick or treat events in Adamsville and Saltillo.
The city of Adamsville announced that its Treat Trail event has been moved from its City Park to the inside venue The Marty at 241 Crowe St. Children can visit various treat vendors starting at 5 p.m.
Out of precaution, the town of Saltillo decided last week to relocate its “Nightmare on Main Street,” trick or treating event to the gym at the community center at 8470 Tenn. 69. Trick or treaters can arrive starting at dusk or around 5 p.m.
