Vaughan Metts Sr. (6-16-10) services 6-20-10

Vaughan Anderson Metts Sr., 70, of Counce, died Wednesday, June 16, at Hardin Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Everette B. and Lurline Vaughan Metts.

Mr. Metts was a ramp service agent for Delta Airlines with 28 years of service. He was of the Christian faith.

Services were held Sunday, June 20, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with Vaughan Metts Jr. and Warren Jones officiating. Burial was at Pickwick White Sulphur Cemetery, Counce.

He is survived by a son, Vaughan A. Metts Jr. of Pickwick; a daughter, Heather Renee Smith of Collierville, Tenn.; and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Kathryn Ann Worrell.
